20. space shuttle challenger
Updated: Oct 2, 2021
Anyone who was alive in 1986 would remember the space the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster. it was a really bad incident for anyone who watched on either the TV or in real life. it occurred on a Tuesday morning, January 28, 1986. Space Shuttle Challenger exploded 73 seconds into its 1st flight, and there were no survivors
the crew's names was, francis.R. scobee, Michael J. Smith, Ronald McNair, Ellison Onizuka, Judith Resnik, Gregory Jarvis and Christa McAuliffe. most of them were NASA astronauts but the others were normal people in the royal navy. one of them was even a teacher!
here is a picture when it exploded:
BOOM! it exploded in a split second on a very cold morning in winter (for americans!). the reason why it exploded is because it was a very cold morning and the coldness made the oxygen and the hydrogen turn into liquid and they mixed together. oxygen and hydrogen mixing together makes a HUGE explosion (this is what they do down the bottom to liftoff) and it obviously exploded!
classes all around the united states of america where watching this launch because of the famous teacher, christa McAuliffe was in the space shuttle. every thing was going well until 1 minute and 13 seconds it blew up! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
😂🤣HAHAHAHAHA
